Kaw Nation Title VI Program
Title VI is a free lunch program for eligible Native American elders. To be eligible for the program, you must meet the following requirements:
55 years old or older Spouses are included Enrolled on an Native American tribal roll Or disabled and 55 years old or older and residing with a Native American elder We deliver meals Monday-Friday to elders in Newkirk and Ponca City (some restrictions apply). If you're in the service area, meet the requirements, and would like to have hot lunches delivered to you, please give us a call (see below) and we'll set up the details.
We have a kitchen and dining area in the W. A. Mehojah, Sr. Resource Center. This building is located at the tribal headquarters in Kaw City, OK. Here we serve free lunches to eligible elders and reasonably priced lunches ($3.00) to the public from 11:00 to 12:30, Monday-Friday.
In addition to this, we offer an exciting and free BINGO game for elders once a month (depending on weather and availability). Come have lunch with us and then share in the fun as you play for the chance to win great prizes.
